Sheffield Beach is the most northern resort town on the KwaZulu-Natal Dolphin Coast. It is located just 48km (30 miles) north of the attractions of Durban and only a stones throw away from the vibrant town of Ballito. Sheffield Beach is unique in that it offers visitors the best of both worlds, being able to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the pristine beaches with rock pools and abundant sea life, whilst being in close proximity to restaurants, pubs, clubs, cinemas and shopping malls. At the nearby Salt Rock Beach there are shark nets around the beach and lifeguards on duty.

The Tiffany’s Mall in Salt Rock is the closest for shopping and small enough that everything is close and big enough that it will offer most of that you require. It also offers resident doctors, optometrists and dentists for those holiday emergencies.

The Litchi Orchard venue is a favourite amongst locals, located just outside Salt Rock (opposite Tiffany’s Mall). This venue offers shops, great coffee at Yellow café, wonderful wholesome lunches and occasionally Friday night music and crafts. Opposite this, you will find the Sage Centre for beautiful crafts and home décor, hairdresser, beauty salon as well as a restaurant.

Burndale Farm, located just outside of Salt Rock, en route to Umhlali offers craft shops, or an opportunity for a cup of coffee or a snack in the beautiful open gardens.
