Umdloti beach is a swimming beach.  Umhlanga village is 14 km away with lots of sidewalk restaurants. Gateway Shopping Centre is 12 km away. Boasting 24 movie houses, Imax theatre, Skateboard Park, flowrider (an artificial wave that can be ridden by a novice), and every conceivable shop and restaurant. Sabiya casino and entertainment world is situated on top of a hill just 7kms away. Amazing nightlife and entertainment.
