Once you enter this magnificent home, you’ll be greeted by a captivating glimpse of the breathtaking Indian Ocean views that beckon you to explore the back garden. The garden boasts rolling lawns that lead directly to the beach through a private beach access gate. The beach itself is welcoming and user-friendly, but it’s essential to exercise caution, as it’s best suited for experienced swimmers who can read the tides and assess the daily conditions.

If you’re not a beach goer, you can still enjoy our beautiful beachside getaway. We have a lovely gazebo with a full gas braai, a weber braai, a fire pit, and comfortable seating where we’ve had many delightful family evenings, chatting and enjoying the warmth of a cozy fire until the wee hours of the morning. For a breathtaking view of the ocean, head to the stunning deck where you can savor sundowners or have breakfast.

The swimming pool, umbrellas, beach umbrellas, cooler boxes, and pool toys will keep the little ones entertained, should you wish to be sheltered from the wind and sun the front garden features a delightful children’s playground area, thoughtfully positioned with a cozy seated spot for moms to relax while their little ones play safely.  There is ample parking to comfortably park 5 vehicles.

On the ground floor, you’ll find the formal lounge and dining room, along with a guest cloakroom. For your early morning coffees and conversations, we have a delightful coffee station and a casual pyjama lounge. The enclosed outdoor area can be fully opened, but please ask our friendly staff to assist you, as it can be a bit tricky. Only open the doors fully if the weather conditions permit, as onshore winds may make the furniture and floors sticky and damp. You’ll be able to gauge the weather conditions around the house. This is why we have ducted air conditioning throughout the home and fully sealed, glazed windows to keep the heat and moisture out, allowing you to enjoy the open area when weather permits or when entertaining around the gazebo in the evenings, making use of the bar area. Inside the enclosed verandah, you’ll find a bar area, a large seating space, and an eight-seater dining table for casual breakfasts and lunches.

Our kitchen is fully equipped with a pantry and scullery, our Laundry facilities are all diligently managed by our housekeepers.

The third level offers even more to explore, with a lovely bar area featuring a large ten-seater dining table, umbrellas, and loungers. It’s a perfect spot for privacy and to admire the stunning views of the ocean from North to South. Additionally, you’ll find a fully equipped wok cooking system and a small fitted kitchen for your convenience when entertaining upstairs. To stay active during your holiday, we have a small gym with limited equipment to keep you fit and healthy.

During load shedding, you can still enjoy uninterrupted services thanks to the inverter system, which powers the TVs, WiFi, lights, plugs around the house, remote gates, and alarms. However, the inverter system doesn’t cover the oven, microwave, scullery plug points, and hot water, as they rely on electricity to operate. But no worries, once the electricity is back on, hot water is instantly available.

Feel free to use the plug points at the coffee station to boil the kettle and enjoy your coffee during load shedding. Cooking won’t be an issue either, as we have a gas top stove, which can also be a perfect opportunity to take your dinner outside to the lovely gazebo braai area.

Things to do

If you wish to explore the village for entertainment, an Uber ride costs R28.00. However, with everything we have to offer on our property, you might find yourself in your very own beach paradise, and once you close the gate, the outside world will melt away
