Private beach is a swimming beach. Umhlanga village is 4 km km away with lots of sidewalk restaurants. Gateway Shopping Centre is 7km away. Boasting 24 movie houses, Imax theatre, Skateboard Park, flowrider (an artificial wave that can be ridden by a novice), and every conceivable shop and restaurant. Sibaya casino and entertainment world is situated on top of a hill just a short 10 minute drive away boasting amazing nightlife and entertainment.
